Haidilao Hot Pot Cupertino

We had such a great hot pot experience! We tried mushroom, tomato, pork bone, and tom yum broth — all of them were super tasty. Our favorite was definitely the tom yum; it had the perfect mix of flavor and spice. The service was friendly and the sauce bar had so many great options. Just make sure to book a table ahead of time because it gets busy!

This Hai Di Lao location is much better than the one in Fremont. They have more staff here, and the service was very attentive. I made a reservation in advance, and they set up the table nicely—especially since I noted that we needed a baby high chair. They even had a placement mat ready on the table, which was thoughtful. There’s also a waiting lounge, and the whole place is clean and welcoming. We were able to place our order right after being seated, which was convenient. The sauce bar offers plenty of snacks, fruits, and sauces to choose from. The meat quality is always fresh and sliced thin. We especially enjoy their golden soup, tomato soup, and spicy soup—the broths are always flavorful and satisfying. We also mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, and the staff went above and beyond—they sang, helped set up, and even got our cake ready for us. It made the celebration extra special.

It was definitely a different experience if you haven’t tried it before! • Tomato soup – my absolute favorite, a must-try • Mushroom soup – packed with all kinds of mushrooms, mild but tasty • Plenty of vegetarian options • Loved the fried bean curd rolls • Didn’t enjoy the tofu much For dessert, tried ube & vanilla ice cream – both were yum! The only downside: long wait times ⏳ But overall, a really good spot for dinners with friends or family.

I had an amazing experience at this hot pot restaurant during the Grand opening weekend! The tomato and golden broth were rich and flavorful. The ingredients were fresh, especially the thinly sliced beef, seafood, and vegetables. I also loved the variety of dipping sauces—you can mix and match to your own taste. A big shout-out to our server. Henry and Manager Jennifer for their outstanding service. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Top-notch customer service like this really makes the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and lively, perfect for gathering with friends and family. Definitely one of the best hot pot spots in town—can’t wait to come back!

Came here for my birthday lunch and had a great experience! The food was delicious — I especially loved the Tom Yum broth. It was extra busy since we came during the Meat O’Clock AYCE deal, but our server Zed was still super attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Great service and fun atmosphere — definitely coming back!

Special shoutout to Tim! He’s by far the best server we’ve met at Haidilao, and we’ve been here more than 10 times! I brought my son on Friday to try their weekday special combo ($23.99 including meat, veggies, and soup base), and it was such an amazing deal. My son loved his free kids’ meal, and Tim checked in with us several times to make sure everything was perfect. At checkout, he even reminded me about the survey for an extra discount. I couldn’t believe how little we paid for two! Such a great experience!

you really come to haidilao for the vibes. the food was good and the meat was tender but paying 10+ dollars for a bowl of veggies is a little steep. service was very attentive, even though our server seemed a little overwhelmed and rushed. we also ordered the dancing noodles and never received them and had to get them refunded. the birthday celebration was nice although they only gave us fruit as a dessert, which is perfectly fine and health conscious if you dont get your fill on the food at that price, you can always get plenty of extra sides, fruit, ice cream etc at the sauce bar overall, great atmosphere but if you're coming for the hotpot itself, its just quite alright

From the moment I arrived, the service stood out May, our server, was genuinely one of the kindest and most attentive people I’ve encountered in any restaurant. She anticipated every need with a smile and made the entire meal effortless and enjoyable. The food was excellent across the board. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and I highly recommend taking advantage of the Meat O’Clock deal it’s an incredible value for the quality. The shrimp, in particular, was impressively fresh and cooked perfectly in the broth. Whether you’re new to hot pot or a longtime fan, this location is an absolute must-visit. Between the quality ingredients, seamless service, and warm hospitality, Haidilao Cupertino is easily the best hot pot in the Bay Area.
